For international shipments:

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

After completing the payment, you will get a confirmation that your payment has been processed successfully. You will also get a mail in your registered email id confirming the order along with all the details such as order number and the list of products ordered.

How do I check my order status?

We will ship within 72hrs of payment confirmation. We expect you to receive your shipment within 2 weeks of dispatch. However, in case you don’t receive it, please write to us at care@swayom.com and we’ll assist you in tracking your shipment.

Is it safe to use my Credit card/Debit card at swayom.com?

We have partnered with a global leading payment gateways which provide a 256 bit SSL encryption along with being Verisign secured. This provides complete security.

What if a product is not in stock?

As all our products are handcrafted, there is generally only one product of each kind. Thus, if a product is out of stock, we will renew the art form with similar products, but not the exact same one. If you like a product which is not in stock, you can add the same to your wish-list and we will notify you as soon as a similar product is in stock. However, we are sure that you will find a product in our extensive catalogue that suits your taste.

In the rare circumstance where the order has been accepted and due to some reasons we are not able to ship, we will notify you within 24 hrs and refund the entire amount through the same mode by which the payment was originally made, within 2 weeks.

How long will it take for the product to reach me?

The delivery time would be 2 weeks from the time of dispatch.

The timelines are an indication of average time required. Though we try our best to make the whole shipping process foolproof, there might be delays due to customs clearance, etc which are not in our control.

Can I ship different items in my order to different shipping addresses?

We process only one shipping address per order. So, if you would like to order several items and ship to different people, please treat these as separate orders.

What are the shipping charges?

We charge a flat shipping charge of $45 ($1 = Rs.53) for all international shipments.

Can I cancel my order?

If you want to cancel an order, please send us an email at care@swayom.com. Please include your order number, the products ordered, your name, your shipping and billing address, SKU number and your phone number (including area code). If you have our order confirmation email handy, all you need to do is forward it to us, since all the information we need will be in the email.  Please note that the order cannot be cancelled if it has already been shipped.  You can go through our detailed ‘Cancellation Policy’ to know more.

Can I return a product ordered from swayom.com?

We are sure you would appreciate that since all our products are handmade and thus are unique pieces; there is no way we can find a similar product for replacement.

However, we follow a ‘no questions asked’ return policy. Which means you can return the product for any reason what-so-ever, by notifying us within 7 days of receiving it, provided that-

  1. The product is unused and is in a saleable condition.
  2. The product still has its tag and label attached and is in its original packaging.
  3. The product is accompanied with its original invoice.

Please ensure that while returning, the product is packed properly so that it doesn’t get damaged in transit. The return shipping charge needs to be borne by the customer. Please note that we should receive the product within 20 days of you receiving it.

Please mail us at care@swayom.com and inform us about the product you wish to return within 7 days (please mention the reason for return so that we can better our products/services in the future).  Don’t forget to mention the SKU number on the package while sending it back.

What happens if I am not available at the time of delivery?

Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package thrice before it is returned back to us. Please provide your mobile number in the delivery address as it will help in making a faster delivery.

What options do I have while making payment?

We accept payments by a variety of credit cards. For your convenience, we will add more payment options in the future. Please note that the payment will be made in favour of Ashtavinayaka Company.

Can I send my order as a gift to someone else?

Sure. Just write to us at care@swayom.com mentioning all the product/order details along with the card message that you want to send.

Also, let us know if you don’t want the invoice to be sent along.

Anything else I need to know?

Please remember that you are looking at a unique, one-of-its-kind, handcrafted product. Thus there will be those little imperfections which are what make the product special unlike a perfect finished factory made item.

  • Slight variation in color shade - It is normal to find slight variation in a product’s color shade due to difference in viewing conditions, differences in lighting or due to your computer’s monitor. Moreover, different natural dyes color the fabric differently under diverse conditions.
  • Unevenness - In hand woven cloth, it is natural to find unevenness in the fabric’s weaving. It is not a defect but a unique characteristic of hand woven fabric itself.
  • Shrinkage - In case of cotton apparel, please allow 5% for shrinkage.
  • Color run - In case where natural colors or vegetable dyes are used, it is normal for colors such as reds and indigo to run in the first few washes. The clothes have been dyed keeping this in mind and the fabric is intended to lose some of its coloring thus attaining a lighter, cooler shade than original.
  • Some of the products (such as Meenakari jewellery) are low-cost replica of the original art forms. Some art forms were originally made in gold and other precious stones/material but over a period of time have evolved by using a cheaper substitute material. Our intention is to bring these art forms (original/replica) to you at an affordable price.
